Dubai skylineDubai offers so much to see and do. Today, we’re sharing some favourites among tourists who choose this city as their travel destination:

Dubai Museum
Dubai’s main historical museum is housed in the Al Fahidi Fort, being the oldest building in the city. The fort opened as the Dubai museum in 1971, and this location alone offers a historical point of view. Walk through the museum to get a glimpse of historic Arab houses, mosques, desert and marine life – what everyday life in Dubai once was before the discovery of oil. The galleries also display artefacts from African and Asian countries that traded with Dubai.

IMG Worlds of Adventure
Dubai houses the world’s largest indoor theme park – IMG Worlds of Adventure. There are more than 20 rides and attractions spread out across four themed zones – Marvel, Cartoon Network, Lost Valley Dinosaur Adventure and IMG boulevard. Every zone accommodates a different crowd with carefully-curated forms of entertainment. There are also 28 dining outlets which offer exceptional food.

Burj Khalifa
Standing at 828m, the world’s tallest building is truly impressive. There are two observation decks, situated on the 124th and 148th floors. The observation platform on the 148th floor also just happens to be the world’s highest, at 555m. Named At The Top Sky, the fancy setting and exceptional service here will surely provide an enjoyable experience.

Madinat Jumeirah
Lonely Planet described this location as a “contemporary interpretation of a traditional Arab village”, and that it truly is. Palm trees, traditional-style architecture and cosy seating spaces all contribute to the charming setting. You will also find a souq where art and souvenirs hint towards Arabian culture, even if the surroundings are inspired by modernism.
